Brooke Topete

I've always had an interest in any type of design and decided early on that I would love to turn my passion into my career. I graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco with a degree in Visual Communications. Over the last 10 years i have worked as a freelance designer with individual clients as well as major companies such as Afterscience, Nordstroms and Stanley R Gatti Designs. I enjoy helping people with their home, event or personal style and I would love to work with you!

““I have been so impressed with the interior design services that I have received from Brooke Topete. I started out consulting her about our master bedroom remodel. On my own, I had picked out what I thought would look good for paint colors and bedding, but it just wasn’t turning out how I envisioned and I wasn’t very excited about it. Brooke helped me to figure out what kind of look I was wanting, and then pick out a new color scheme, and all of the decor to achieve this. She made recommendations on furniture placement, telling me which pieces I should get rid of to de-clutter and give more balance and openness to the room. The result was a transformation of a very drab and uninviting space that was awkwardly arranged, into a clean and simple cozy bedroom that I have fallen in love with! I liked the bedroom so much I wanted to redo every room! Brooke helped me to pick out wall colors, curtains, rugs, and décor for almost every other room of the house. She re-arranged furniture and décor that I already had in ways that I never would have thought of! It was completely amazing how Brooke’s simple rearrangement could make what I already had look so much better and make rooms look bigger, more inviting and updated. She knew exactly what key pieces I needed to purchase to create the “finishing touches” that I lacked, and she was very conscious of keeping costs to a minimum while doing so. I love her clean, simple and practical style. It is exactly what I wanted but couldn’t have achieved on my own! She is very talented at what she does and I would highly recommend her.””
